Selective Harvesting
At Coffee World Investments Limited, quality is paramount. Our partner farmers meticulously hand-pick only the ripest, deep-red coffee cherries. This selective harvesting ensures that only the sweetest and most mature beans make it to the next stage, guaranteeing a consistently superior cup.
Optimal Natural Drying
The harvested cherries are processed and laid out on raised beds. The beans undergo a slow, natural drying process, meticulously monitored to reach the optimal moisture content. Regular turning by hand ensures even drying, which is crucial for preserving the coffee's bright acidity and complex body.
Precision Milling & Grading
Once dried, the parchment coffee is transported to our central mill in Nairobi. Here, it is hulled, polished, and graded by size, density, and quality. Our state-of-the-art equipment and expert Q-graders ensure that only the finest beans, including the coveted AA and PB grades, are selected for the Coffee World Investments Limited brand.
Preservation & Bulk Packaging
To ensure the longevity and quality of our green coffee during transit, we use specialized GrainPro bags. These liners protect the beans from moisture and external contaminants, sealing in the delicate aromatics and preserving the fresh flavors until they reach the roaster.
Traceability & Quality Control
Every lot is meticulously tracked. Through our participation in global trade shows and direct partnerships, we verify the story of every bag. We connect with discerning buyers, showcasing the full transparency and superior quality that Coffee World Investments Limited represents.
Export & Global Logistics
The final step is the bridge to the world. Our green coffee is exported from the port of Mombasa to roasters across the globe. We manage the entire logistics process, ensuring our premium East African coffee arrives safely, preserved in optimal condition for its final destination.
